Sorry

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

After reading the whole thread that hadn't yet caught my attention, that may be a good idea Gregory. As forementioned, not a good idea to insult and alienate prospective customers. It's the equivalent of sales hari kari.

Nuff said and lesson learned I'm sure. You did however redeem yourself somewhat by saying sorry. I'd have however also asked forgiveness for your liberal use of insults toward the site and it's members.

Gregory, apology accepted from me, and no real harm done. We all make wrong choices at times and say things in the heat of the moment.

I'm not going to freeze your account at all, and hope you stick around to share some fishing stories and experiences. In any case, I'm sure you're not the only person who has not "really" read the rules and code of conduct.

Folks, let's not discourage our young anglers from participating. I don't want this site to be perceived in a negative way. I know its important to keep it clean and free of spam, but I'd like to ask that you just notify me when you see things that shouldn't be here, and I'll personally try to clean it up, in the most respectful manner possible.

I thank you for that.
Cheers,

I'd like to say sorry to you as well Greg, I rarely get involved in this kinda stuff but had a bit too much to drink the night before and seemed like a good idea at the time. Still, please don't insult the good people of this site.

Please stay around. If everyone left after controversy / insults / whatever there would be no one else. People behave here like they do when driving on the roads, somewhat hidden in their cars - its more anonymous and so people act differently. Don't take it personal, and put your energy into the positive threads.

Very well said SteveO, and pretty much sums it up for every discussion that perhaps goes in the wrong direction.

We're all going to make mistakes, say things in the heat of the moment while sitting behind your computer monitor, do things against rules, most of the time I'm sure inadvertently, but if we all can mature enough to handle those times in the right manner, then all will be good and we can continue the learning and sharing.

For some reason, I feel we've all made a great big step in the right direction, and I truly commend you all on this.

Cheers,
