Anyone ever ice fished Burrits Rapids Locks?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I fished the top of the lock last year, where there is next to no current. Had masses of small perch..was fishing at that time with at least 2 feet of ice beneath me.

I would never try the area below due to the fact like Bowzog said the current is evil.
