Lil' Ice Fishin' Report

After the shop closed we hit the ice at a local lake to try our luck!

Got set up over 8' of water and lowered our offerings......didn't take long for Mr. Perch to appear!

....caught a few like this one......

......also nabbed a few hammerhandle pike. A real hoot on UL ice rods!

Can't wait to get out again......after this weeks deepfreeze.....there'll be some serious ice!!

Sure is nice to finally be on the ice ,,,and catching fish too

. I think they have been waiting for us

Its almost here Salmon, there's 8 inches on my rain barrel! I'm gonna try fishing it tomorrow for the minnows I put in there, LOL

Now that made me laugh, because I can just see you checking the barrel for ice, Rich.

Fisherman are a different breed, for sure!

Nice perch, Bowzog. Did you have the little camera down to watch the toothies again?

By the way, where are you & S'Puppy going to set up the Baitmobile this year (when and IF there is reliable ice)???
