Short Report (2 Pics)

Post by BBRich »

Well Greenbastard came out today and we went back to the panfish zone.. not too much happening, would have helped if we had real bait, lol. Eventually we figured out that bread balls worked pretty well for bluegill. Only one keeper perch caught all day but quite a few bluegills to keep us occupied. No pike however.

Hi Rich,

Short & sweet report, pretty bluegills. I'm just kind of stunned at the green grass here in the 1st week of January.

Glad you're having some fun with the panfish. It's still fishin'!

break out the mowers

Post by Bondo »

You guys aint kiddin about the grass. I think I may have to break out the lawn boy one more time, this is craziness!! (but I sure don't mind not having to shovel). Anyhow, I digress. BB, nice pics bro. Can't wait to get out. Hopefully going to pick up a gas auger tomorrow in preparation for the ice. Had purchased a hand one but returned it for the same reason I got rid of my shovels and bought a snowblower........GETTIN TOO OLD. I figured if you can have "the big one" shoveling, you can probably have it boring holes as well. Keep up the posts BB.

Nice pics, BBR....Nuts to have green grass at this time of year!
As for augers, Bondo - I believe Canadian Tire has their Jiffy gas augers on for 25% off this week. Might be worth checking out.

Good Fishing,
