Hey Guys,

Say alot of you guys out! I guarantee u all saw me.... I was in electronics (fishfinders/gps), and fishing all day... I say Joco, Jackal, Ransome, Bucketmouth, Mr. J, and Muskymatt And a few more fishhawk hats lingering around!

Spence: I was in that area as well...purchased a new fish finder for my boat...it has 150o of view...anyone ever used that much degree before??

It was nice seeing Big Jim , I never get tired of listening to him ,love the conversations , and the pics he had of his great bear lake trip were awesome , stuff to salivate over.
Spence , Plowjock ....always a pleasure.

Nodie ..listen to advice from guys like Jim....you'll do good as an up and coming angler :wink:

Mr.J , Peppino and the rest...nice to see some familiar faces in off season :D

I went in with Gift certificates to spend and left without a purchase :shock: :shock: ...could it be I have everything :shock: :shock:

Saw a lot of Fish-hawk guys past and present today and in the past few days. I'm sorry I don't recognize all you guys when you come in. Please say hello and introduce yourselves.
At times this am it was busy but not a real barn burner as they would say.
I'm the OLD, short, follically challenged guy in fishing, Spence has ALL the hair.

I was tempted, made a halfhearted attempt, got out the front door, was pelted by snowballs by the local kids. Started cursing in nonsensical language and made my best speed limp to chase the little monkeys while they squealed in laughter.

Little idiots made me laugh too, made me forget the problems of the world and thanked God, they weren't mine and told them to go home, eat LOT'S of candy and Xmas chocolate and continually ask their parents why Santa didn't bring them what they wanted and that it was vacation and that means "climbing the walls" is what mom and dad actually want you to do.

That gave me a strange sense of satisfaction and I forgot my original intention of hitting LeBarons just to say hi to a few of the boys...went back inside and watched ...what else these days? but one of the 5 Rocky movies.

Sorry I missed ya guys! I'll catch up with you next time, oh, bring your kids too! Love filling their minds with good things! :wink:

Yep, guys like that have A LOT of good info to listen to :) Really want to become a pro bass angler one day........one day :) I gonna try the Pro-am event with Renegade bass and see how it goes :) Thanks again for the great story Big Jim :)

new Daiwa SG LCA17 linecounter
K&J, you'll love that reel. Next to the Tekota line, its my favorite 'mini' reel.

i wish okuma made one that size in the magda series.

I was drooling...I mean spooling it last night. I already had an LCA27 but I wanted one for the summer months where I could put on a shorter rod and not have so much weight. This seemed to be the only reel small enough for what I was looking for. This will also be good for the fall as an extra. The Quantum linecounter combo was just too good a deal to pass up ($85 for 8'6" Rhino rod and Linecounter reel) which will be used as my fourth rod for the fall.

Anyways hope you get your new truck, as you definitely need it for some of the wicked weather you fish in. :wink:

so far its between a Chevy Tahoe and a GMC Yukon.
