Problem with site?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Does this look like the face of someone who's slow in the head?

I think it should be OK now. I'm not having any issues at the moment.

Site was loading painfully slow this morning. Check everything from this end and everything looks OK.
In excess of 30 seconds to load any of the forums.
Hmmmm.......

I've tried FF (latest revision) and Microdwebe Internet Exploder and they are both equally slow loading. It is a tad better right now but this morning the birdbath froze over while the front page was loading. :D
cleared cache and all the other goodies too. Oh well, winter is long, at least for those of us who do not freeze the soles of our feet off. :D

Faster than b4 at rare times but still really sluggish on the whole.

( I fear I've created a monster here). (Methinks it's only a matter of time b4 it drives enough people mad and find an angry crowd of people brandishing torches and pitchforks hot on my trail).

Sorry to dredge this up, but things can't get much slower in calling up forums and posts. Average about 25-30 seconds of waiting to access stuff. This during a week when I don't have a spare minute. I miss FH, but can't squeeze in too much time during the hectic days lately. :(

Anyone else, or is it just my "end" that requires a hefty dose of computer laxative???

Nope not alone Wolfe. I spent about 3 hrs yesterday optimizing, tweaking, defraging, deleting, cleaning, removing spyware, trojans, unneeded command calls, registry revamp. In short, this puppy,(computer), of mine isn't going to move any faster without a few nitro canisters attached.

So, it would seem, after that and the amount of ppl it's effecting, that it's the site itself. Methinks Fatluke might be on the right track in regard to the provider/bandwidth theory. Less might have been dedicated towards FH by the server by accident or due to other complications.

I do concur though...damn frustrating.
