Problem with site?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Problem with site?

Post by Badger Shark »

Anyone else having alot of difficulty with the site? I am having an awful time with pages taking forever to load up and now I keep getting booted off when I click on to fishing talk. This is the first time in about 8 tries I have managed to get on and its not my computer or internet as I have checked.

I have heard others saying they are having problems with it being slow but I havnt been booted out before, maybe I have been bad

I put this in this section because more people pay attention to this forum.

Yep, agonizingly slow. Working just about as quickly as a high powered divorce attourney who charges by the hour.

I noticed this afternoon that the site was sluggish to say the least. All seems to be OK now though. I'll continue to monitor and check with host provider to see if they are having any issues with their links. Thanks for mentioning it.

Now I just tried to post a reply and when I clicked on it , the screen just went blank and it said done in the bottome corner. It took me 8 minutes to get to the point where I am now writing this. Also I keep getting logged out for some reason every once and a while. I have checked with all other sites I go to and this is the only one that takes a really long time to load up. I dont know maybe its me but others I have spoken with seem to be having similar problems. Sorry its just frustrating me. And I spend most of my computer time on this site than any other.

Slooow, but sporadically so. Some things pop up quick, others take forever.

I'm not having any problems at the moment. I did a little ping test with the following results.

Pinging www.fish-hawk.net [65.254.250.102] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 65.254.250.102: bytes=32 time=61ms TTL=244
Reply from 65.254.250.102: bytes=32 time=61ms TTL=244
Reply from 65.254.250.102: bytes=32 time=61ms TTL=244
Reply from 65.254.250.102: bytes=32 time=62ms TTL=244

Ping statistics for 65.254.250.102:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 61ms, Maximum = 62ms, Average = 61ms

61ms is not too bad. I'll continue to monitor though.
