Windy?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Windy?

Post by wolfe »

Do you folks over the border have this crazy wind? All day here, and rip roaring now. Hope anyone that was out on the water today / tonight had a safe outing. It's really, & I mean REALLY windy here.

We're supposed to get it the next couple of days. This weekend's musky video should be really "extreme"!

Yeah, I've noticed downtown is always a few degrees warmer than outlying areas.

Why why why? I am already counting down the days to spring, I HATE COLD. But I am going to ice fish to pass the time. My dad and I are going to build a nice shack complete with a huge skylight.

Perhaps you've heard, but Buffalo NY and some of the outlying areas received 2' of (lake effect) snow over night!!!! :!:

105 miles of the Thruway were closed. There were people calling in on the radio stations at 6:30 this morning from their cars, where they had been sitting, not moving, since midnight. It's the earliest lake effect blizzard on record for Buffalo.

A sign of what's to come???

Bite your tongue, Slushy. I'm still trying to adjust to falling leaves, let alone snow and hard water. It'll come, soon enough (except for Joco).
