5lb Club Entry [withdrawn] (2006 post)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

hey taylor, don't worry about some others. they spend more time insulting people, other then helping them out. or encouraging them. i think people forget what this site is for. helping out other fishermen. well keep your line wet, and the thing about RJ, really funny.

Hello

The guy in the picture looks like the guy bubbles(?) from " Trailer Park Boys".

Weird! By the way I have never caught anything close to a 5 pound bass. And I am not that concerned if I do!!!

Taylor, yes point well made. Thank you. Looks like I'll need to find a way to validate entries to some extent. As far as throwing insults in posts, it is not acceptable here I assure you. I assume your statement on this was being sarcastic, and again, your point well made.

Folks, let's keep this in mind to not judge. If you don't have anything of value to add, then just don't post.

Cheers,

Pics can certainly be deceiving.

Image

I caught that July 1st, 2004. In the picture I would assume it was 5 pounds without questioning it.

In reality, the fish was just a tad over 4lbs. If it wasn't post-spawn and incredibly skinny, I'm sure it would have been well over 5.

Hi everybody,

I was just doing some forum searches on a few topics and found a few interesting ones. Fishing is timeless so what does a date matter? And as wolfe says, if you don't like the content of a thread, just close it.

I think this entry should be reassessed for the nickle club.

PS - Feel free to move it if you don't think it belongs here. Thanks.
