Where to fish on-shore at Lake Scugog?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Where to fish on-shore at Lake Scugog?

Hi, I just started fishing this season (and I’m loving it!!). I was wondering if anyone can give me any good locations to fish on shore (can’t afford a boat yet) at Lake Scugog.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

There is a launch in Port Perry, just north of the marina, should find pan fish there...

Also a launch at Ceasera, off Hwy 7A...

Tons of weeds all around Scugog this time of year. If you can I would try up off of the river south of Lindsay, should have better luck there, water flow would be cooler water.
