Div. 10 & 15 Trout Opener

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Dave,

Next time bud!

Brian,

Save some Brookies for me

There's got to be more people headin out, speak up folks :) You don't have to say what lake you're goin to, just the area and target.

Cheers,

Rich

Carlco and I tried to setup a time, but the man has too many XMas New Years Parties... we'll see if we can sneak a day in somewhere, but it'll be last minute.

i am in Petawawa and can fish for almost all species of trout. I was hoping to get out for splake and rainbows and possibly lakers on opening day. although 2 of the lakes are open year round. all 3 lakes are fairly close and the only one I haven't limited ot on yet is the one with the bows. I just can't figure them out.The splake I am usually limited out ( 2 guys ) in aboput 30 mins, lakers same amount of time if you want little ones, but my best day fo bows was 3. Hope to get better this year. If anyone wants to head up this way let me know.

No browns this way that I know of. The splake are generally in the 12-14 inch range. I kow another lake that has big splake in it but you need a snowmobile to get there. lAST YEAR i KNOW OF TO 5'S A 6 and a 9 pounder caught in the lake. Not as many fish but they average 17 inches I guess.
