Ice fishing this past week on the Ottawa...

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I had a coupla first's this week.

1. The earliest i've ever been on the hard stuff

2 First outing on the ice this season and

3 First time hooking up with Bucketmouth. 8)

I was quick to find out how generous and helpful Bucketmouth is. He shared his knowledge of the area even before heading out on the bay. Bucket also let me take full advantage of his Vex and even shared his stinky, putrid Honey Worms with me :D We had some good chit chat and laugh's between fish and in my eyes, thats what fishin is all about.

Bucket was nowhere near as anxious as i was to get the day underway, as he showed up mid morning   This is what i saw as i set foot on the hard stuff to start off the 05/06 season

And heres Bucket with a healthy.... bonus Gil'

Thanks Don, i had a blast! Let's do it again real soon

Thanks for the kind words Grant :D It was great getting out with such a personable and enthusiastic fellow like yourself! I'm looking forward to meeting up with you to fish some of the other bodies of water that you're more familiar with too :D
