New York state trib fishing...

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

New York state trib fishing...

Post by sportfish_dom »

Well we got word that the Browns and some Steelhead were in,in good numbers so we set out...(man 3:30am comes fast...lol).
The three of us got to our spot and the drifting started...one of my buddies said after awhile that his left boot side felt like it was leaking, that water was cold...guys..."INSTANT SHRINKAGE" cold, but it gets better.
The action didn't really start until the sun started to hit the water,we had a double header and both were landed.
Everyone was into some fish, but the funny thing I noticed was that most of the fish were in the 4 to 6,7lbs range, only two,one that I had on and lost but it did surface before I lost it so I got a look at it and one that another guy got that I would say were close to the 10lbs mark and we saw alot of fish being caught through the day.
Now the funnier part(not so much for one of my buddies).
I had a fish on and after playing it for awhile,I told my buddy to get the tailing glove,so I'm fighting the fish and I hear alot of splashing and comotion behind me,I turn around and I see my buddy swimming with the fishes... we started to laugh so much that tears formed in my eyes, still trying to land the fish.
We finnaly got things under control, the fish was landed and my buddy was trying to "ring" himself out...lol
Needless to say that was the end of the day...final count 14 Browns landed and many more lost.
A great day,great friends,lots of fish...it's what it's all about.

Here's some pictures... :D :D :D
