News from India...

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

News from India...

Post by MichaelVandenberg »

Hi All,

Just thought I'd drop in and say Goodday from India. It is a gorgeous 30 degree here. Having a relatively good time. I am here for work so not much site seeing. Different world over here in India. The main thing you notice right away is the traffic. Lots of scooters and motor bikes. There is no rhyme or reason to how the traffic flows. Basically is a free for all.

Food is different as well but am getting use to it. Most dishes are spicy. Something I wasn't not use too but am getting there.

Anyways, just wanted know if you guys have any ice yet :). I guess it has been cold and some snow has been failing in the Ottawa area anyways.

Reading the reports and such just make me miss home and reminds me how good we have it in Canada for both fishing and way of life. You see things that can be a bit depressing as you see how tough it is for some people here in India. I guess that is one thing this trip has shown me.

Cheers,

Mike

pro-bassing....

So good to hear from you and know you are faring well.

I can understand you must be a little homesick, though!

When you get back, please post some of your experiences and pictures.

Take care.

W.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.
