Musky "Release Shot"

I got my St. Croix yesterday after a long wait for its Warranty work. This morning when got up i went out and bought a 10" Manta "6oz" glide bait. I rigged up my musky rod and a few flipping sticks with buck-tails and throw back baits and headed out for a couple hours.

On my first spot second cast i hooked into a fish. This one was about 36" didn't measure though...

I then moved on casting docks and when i reached the outside of the marina in about 10fow off the longest dock i had a follow from a monster! She didn't hit but had her mouth open ready to take the bait just as it reached the boat. I casted back a 9" fluke and some swim baits but she never came back out to play.

Anyways it was a great 2hours on the water and i will be spending most of tomorrow casting for musky again.
