i fish brook trout on the picanoc and east branch of the colounge every day i am off if your looking for some good bass fishing and your in otter lake area go up the picanoc road before the pavement ends there is a paved pull off spot there is some fast water there downstream is good bass fishing some say also walleye and pike although i have only caught bass there my wife did catch a small walleye a week or so ago directly upstream of the fast water if you wade the trout fishing is good the water is always in the 50s an olive wooly bugger works all the time for bass driving time from otter lake i would think not to be more than 15 mins
