Natural dropshot weights

Just what the title says....anything and everything related to Rods, Reels, Terminal Tackle, Plastics, what others are using, what works, what doesn't work, and anything else you want to talk about regarding equipment.

Natural dropshot weights

Post by kingofbeasts »

Hello again, as the title says, I just wanted to share with you something that I conceived and I’ve been testing successfully since last season. It started initially as an improvisation in my holliday in BC (there are lots of places there where you are not allowed to use lead weights) and it developed in to what you can se in the clip .
Practically they are just stone weights that will replace the regular dropshot weights for a more efficient and eco-friendly presentation. They are so easy to make that you can actually make them on the spot ( provided you have what you need with you ). They also provide camouflage and allow a more discrete presentation for finicky fish.
Enjoy
