I was just wondering what everyone uses for sunglasses. I am in dire need of a new good pair of polarized sunglasses. I don't have a small head which is the most important as I've owned sunglasses that I can't wear for long or I get a headache from them squeezing my head. I know that in most cases the more you pay the better they are. Just looking for some info.

Fishing specific Oakley Straight Jackets with polarized shallow Blue iridium lenses. The also have the VR28 that highlight reds and greens and the deep blue iridium lenses that are better for 10 feet and deeper water.

I also have a set of Revo guide series glasses. They are nowhere near as nice as my oakleys. I love the oakleys so much that I plan on replacing the scratches up lenses in my pair.

X2 for the Oakley Fishing Specific. Mine are the deep blue iridium Polarized Flak Jacket

X3 on the Oakleys. I have the tan and blue lens colors. I also have a pair of numas which are also good. All 3 glasses are comfortable to be warn all day.

Oakley Split Jackets for me, can change my lens on the go with the jaw feature.
Can't beat the Oakley's quality wise, but really any polorized sunglasses would probably do the job.

I have bolle sunglasses and love them they are half the price of others but get the job done

Switched to Costa Del Mars and will never go back. For someone who sight fishes and spends WAAAY too much time on the water they are the ones for me.

They have models that are designed for bigger "faces"..

I need prescriptions so I just pick a frame that I lke and have lenses made.
Tried to get oakleys but they want 400$ just for prescription lenses

I have used Nike frames, Bolle, and Briko. What I look for is complete light blocking at the temples - how well they wrap around. If light leaks in from the sides
polarization is useless.

Have three sets of brikos I need to have lenses made for. My optician will tell me which one will work best.

Costas with the 580 lenses

I use the Cocoons. Yes, they are worn over top of my eyeglasses. Are they as stylish as some of the ones posted above...no. However, I need progressive lenses and the cost of owning a pair of stylish, polarized, progressive sunglasses is pretty high. These cost me $60 and can be found at MEC.

These aren't your typical grannies cataract glasses. They look alright and the polarized lens seems pretty good. Plus, since Ish Monroe wears them they must be good for fishing!!

The more expensive stuff I buy, the better the chance of breaking it. Just like any Bolles, Ray Bans, Arnets or Oakleys in the past.

Two pair of reasonably priced Ryders from Sail for now. No troubles not seeing fish and keeping the sun out of the eyes.

I picked up a nice pair from MEC. Really nice lens for the money. The Flyer is the model, I believe.
