Had a great Saturday (26th, Mar 05), with Mepps2Lou, Scurve, Sandro and his son Cody. We fished a bay in the North Channel of Manitoulin Island. Here are a few photos.

That's what ice fishing is all about! Better than any Easter egg hunt I've ever taken part of. Those were some beauties, hope some will be kissed by hardwood smoke! Good day on the ice lads!

Slayer, I swear you hand paint every one of the fish you catch before they get shot by your lens.

Well done.

That looks like a lot of fun! Bows through the ice would be a blast. Those certainly are pretty fish.

Thanks Guys! Mepps2Lou and I drove up to Capreol Friday afternoon to my brothers place. We had a nice meal, a few bottles of red, a good sleep and headed for Manitouwaning Bay in the morning. We counted 47 deer between Espanola and Little Current. All fish caught were on diddled jigs and only Wahoos were kept.

Our set lines produced nothing this time!

Our favorite little bay had miles of gill netting set, and may have been the reason we didn't limit out this time. You can keep 5 each up there.

Very nice bows for sure. I tried for some like that this year  but my biggest was only 13". Kinda like the ones you were catching. Can't wait to try it again next year! Now come'on spring!
