Palmerston Lake report

Post by BASSSTALKER »

Paya and I met up with BTS at the boat lauch at 11:00 and he kindly taxi'd us out to the honey holes. By the time we got there, there was already one laker on the ice. So 4 more holes in the ice and off we go.

20 min. later we got a visit from the O.P.P's S.A.V.E team.

in there new slede's too! a quick hello and they were off.

Great time

Post by franklauzon »

I can't talk for Bradford, but I for one had a grand old time... What a BEAUTIFUL area.

Bradford iced an 18" and 19.5", and lost a 5-6lber at the hole... I just kept missing them. God I suck, but I'm good luck to people who take me fishing.

We joined up with BTS and the gang later in the day since Basstalker told us to meet BTS at the launch an hour before we could possibly get there, when in reality it was 1 hour after we were there... oh well, at least we caught some fish... On out way back to the truck, we stopped at one of Brad's "Honeyhole's" (he'd never fished the lake before lol) and we had one trout keep coming in, hooked twice, gone twice...

It's a good thing we had a map of the lake, was a god-send those things are.

Dave, Brian, Tenline, it was nice seeing you guys, and nice meeting the rest of them boys... A good gang, and glad to see you boys made it home safe from a guys week-end.

I'll post some pics, and maybe a couple videos of our trip when I get home tonight.

Speaking of the s.a.v.e guys, they were really nice, I dind't have my papers with me, so they could have been dicks... Took a look at that sled, well setup with the GPS unit on there.
