Long range forcast looks like great (0 degrees and sunny). Looking forward to seeing everyone out. There is no place that sells minnows in Aylmer on saturday, but if anyone needs any, I'll pick some up on the way home from work on friday. Sports Action is right by work.

Figure on meeting up at the marina at 9:30-10:30 and fish the day away, then back to the house for movies and pizza.
If anyone needs directions to the marina, let me know.

[quote="JP"]TLsea and I wanted to get a bunch of people together Next saturday, March 9, on the Ottawa river at Aylmer for an ice fishing get together. Good fishing for Pike, Walleye and the perch should be moving in as well. Figured we could all fish the day away then come back to the house and all order Pizza and a movie or something like that. All are welcome and would love to see a big group out. Let me know if you are intending to come and we will save a spot on the ice for you  .
Cheers

Hey Wallyboss. Great to see that u are coming out. I will be there for around 9:30am and will be in my green survival suit with my blue Jimmy.
Here are the answers to your questions.

1 can i bring in live minnows from ont side ?
yes, u can bring minnows and u can use live bait on the ottawa river on the quebec side.

2 where will I find you guys??
As said above, I will be in a green survival suit and my blue jimmy. Also look for Slushy and Bowzog with the yellow Nissan truck.
Not to big an area so I will be iether in the openning of the marina, or just outside the break wall.

Afterwards we are all coming back to my place to watch a movie and we can all order pizza.
Again, all are welcome.

I have 4 dozen minnows(if they last the night) so if anyone needs some, no worries.
Cheers

Hi jl and welcome to the board. Getting here is easy. Go to Island Park and head north over the Champlain bridge to quebec. When u are over the bridge, turn left at the second set of lights (Aylmer Rd). Follow the road straight to the end and into Aylmer (about 15min) and that main road brings you to the marina. Look for me with my Green survival suit on and my blue Jimmy. I will either be in the openning of the marina or in front of the break wall. Look forward to meeting you and seeing all the other hawk talkers out. Remember afterwards everyone is welcome to come back to our place to order pizza and either watch bassmasters or movies. We live less than 5 min from the marina. please BYOB.
Cheers
JP and TLSea.
