Thank-you everyone for all the kind words
About half-way through the season I had an idea about doing an article like this on the Rideau River. With no real concept of fishing slop successfully, I had to....................begin at the beginning so to speak. This was also a great opportunity to share the experience with Fish-Hawk too.
I've always looked at Fish-Hawk as almost a teaching medium. That was the spirit of the article.
Trying to chronicle events from the first trip to the last, as well as successes and failures. Showing people if I can do it, you can do it too. The photography was the hard part. Being by myself every trip, I relied on a very old photography tripod to hold my HP point and shoot camera. I had entertained the idea of some release shots, but became concerned that I may release the camera too
Who knows, maybe next year there will be: Thirteen km Of River - Part II ( I'm Baaaack! )
