Hi folks,

A friend of mine sent me this link, it's to an article in the Pocono Record written by Mike Kuhns about Loughborough Lake and his last visit to the Holiday Manor:

In a little over a week from today, I'll be casting a line into Loughborough Lake in Ontario, Canada.

.... ...

Because the water in many Canadian lakes is so clear, many times fishermen can see the pike dart out from the grass, attacking the lure. It's one of the great experiences any fisherman can witness.
I've never met Mike, but I really appreciated the article and he regularly writes about Ontario fishing, so I dropped Bobber a line and asked if I could post the link here to push his readership up.

Nice article. Sad thing is he doesn't mention the fact that our bass season opens a lot later than the season in the States.... and therefore we get a lot of Stateside folks fishing bass a heck of a lot earlier than they should. Time to write a little note to the editor of the Pocono paper maybe.

Clause: That is some nice free publicity for you huh...Makes me want to try the lake for sure...I do agree with SeaWeed on the bass opening dates. That should be identified in articles.

Thanks guys, I was pleased too, its a lot of work to get the word out about a place and its nice when the word spreads on its own.

I've got Mike's email address now, I'll drop him a line with the suggestion about Bass dates.
