Mikey's Tackle Box specializes in Muskie and Northern Pike Lures including in-line Bucktail Spinners, Spinnerbaits, Marabou Buzzbaits and more. They also carry a wide variety of spinners specifically designed with all North American freshwater species in mind. Custom baits can be made if they don't have what you're looking for.

I've been using these baits since 2007. During our annual Pike and Walleye trip to Pinecrest Lodge, Deep River, we putting on a little derby of our own, guess who came out on top with the Longest Pike.....that's right, you guessed it...the 'ole Bobberino.....guess what I used to catch it....you got that right too! A Mikey's Tackle Box Inline Spinner, orange and black. I've even caught my personal best musky at 50" on a Mikey's bait.

The Review:
These baits are beautifully hand made, each and every one of them and you can tell that the time was put into them to make them just perfect. They are large, but you can use them to fish a wide range of big fish species from Pike and Musky, and I've even caught Bass on them.

Just like any other large fish bait, you store and transport them around in your Musky box or other means if you have one. Nothing special here, just status quo.

I've been using these baits for a few years now, have caught many fish on them....BIG Fish....and I have yet to have one of these baits lose a blade, break a hook, or have a skirt fall off. They are well made, with personal care going into each and every one of them.

<img align="right" src="http://www.fish-hawk.net/photogallery/a ... jpg">These baits come with very strong components, extremely shiny and large blades, strong clevises, strong sharp hooks, good weights, and great buzz blades. The bucktail hair also comes in a finer hair (I don't know the name of it) and more brittle stronger hair. I personally prefer the stronger hair types as they hold their shape in the water better.

Any color you want, Mikey can find and make for you. He accepts custom orders and will do his best to make the bait that you beleive is going to get the big one. Most baits come in 2 sizes, depending on the type of bait you are getting. If it's a bucktail style, Mikey makes a couple sizes that I'm aware of. If it's a spinner bait size, I think most are on the larger size for the larger fish. Again, if there's a specific size you are looking for, Mikey will do his best to make it specially for you.

The end result here is that you have a big fish bait, which takes a beating, looks fantasic in the water, is weighted perfectly, and catches fish. See for yourself....

If you like fishing with bucktails and spinner baits for large fish, these baits are fantastic. The two fish you see above (50" & 45") were caught on Mikey's Baits. One on a Red Spinner Bait and the other on a Black Inline Spinner. The proof is in the pudding!
