3 Days till opening....cant wait.....either can my girlfriend and dog who have listened to the constant art of perfecting the turkey call!

.... has everyone done their scouting and hows your fields looking?

I was out on the weekend making final preparations( clearing shooting lanes, marking yardages) making a ton of noise. Get ready to leave and in the next feild there were 5 just looking at me. I watched them for 10 minutes befoer they decided to leave. I can't wait to hear gobbling Monday morning!!

I've seen more birds this year than ever. I'm having surgery on Monday so the only turkey on the table will be me.

Hopefully will get out for the latter part of the season..

Hello All,

If anyone is interested having a novice tag along please let me know. I am new to Turkey hunting and have my course but don't have a spot yet. I was hoping to get the opportunity to learn from someone who has done this before ?

I can exchange this act of kindness for a future fishing trip later on this summer ?

damnnnnnnnn.....one day to go.....sleeping on and off due to excitement and my boss hands me 2 evening sales meetings.....bah....looks like wednesday evening is my opener!

Blind is up, lanes cleared, decoys and chair are waiting in the blind.

Good news - I can drive back this year as it is drier than last year, that saves me almost 1/2 hour.

All the other crap is ready to go - I'm off to bed to dream of the pre-dawn gobbling... setting the coffee pot timer...
