SHOOTOUT! Tough day, Nice Pay

With a tough bite today on big rideau, Greg Gervais and Steve Oconner figured out the pattern to make ounces the difference from just a day on the water to a $3000 cheque. With 17.88lb bag, Greg and Steve just nudged out Dan faubert and Scott paquin 17.72 sack which earned the second place team $2000. Third place was also only ounces behind, with John ebber and Francois trembleys bringing in a bag of 17.28 and a nice payday of $1250.
Forth place was another close weight flirting with the win was Jamie plumb and Andrew Oomen. 17.26 brought them home a cheque for $850. Matt Bartley and Andrew januszkiewicz rounded out the top 5 with a weight of 16.83 and $600 back in their pockets for a solid effort.
Big fish of the day went to team 69 Lester lamarche and Kevin Fabian with a 4.88 largie! They also ended up in 6th over all with 16.75! Team 69 also claimed Limit Fish Media appreciation award, allowing the team to fish the event for free, which ended their day off with winning a total of $1050
Finishing off the awards was Kevin gibbons and Barrie Wilson's 7th place finish with a weight of 16.73, earning them $200. Team 30 Troy helmer and Kevin helmer took home 2 big fish. The 4.84lb largie earned them $240!
Hidden weight award went to Terry Runtz and Brad Warren. The teams 12.44 was the closest to the selected numbers picked by random audience members. Thanks to Abu Garcia, Terry and Brad's day got a lot better at 5pm when they won 2 Abu revo baitcasters, paired with 2 Abu veritas rods valued at over $500.
