We should ban driving. There is so much littering along the 417 highway, it is disgusting all the garbage that is on the side of the road. A ban on driving would solve this.

We should also ban hunting, I noticed that some a-hole left a couple empty water bottles under his treestand. A ban on hunting would solve this, he wouldn't be in the treestand in the first place.

We should ban walking down sidewalks. Some people spit their gum onto the sidewalk, and it gets stuck on other people's shoes, that is really disgusting.

We should ban recycling boxes at the curb. A windy day, and my neighbour's recycling is all over the place. This is a real travesty, all he has to do is put some weight on top, but banning it outright would certainly solve the problem.

We should ban ice fishing, some people left garbage on the ice.

Yep....the city dumped how many billion litres of RAW SEWAGE into that stretch of the river......and people want ice fishing banned because of some wood left in the ice.....

Ice fishing is awesome, it gives the rivers 6 months they do not have to worry about gas from all the guys trolling and zipping around

Why is throwing ciggerette butts in a pail/can/empty water bottle so hard? I had a poll about this topic ealier in the year hoping to provoke some change amongst the guys who leave their butts or garbage behind! Some guys are just lazy and I'm sure that these same guys throw garbage in the water during the open season, so banning ice fishing wouldn't help and this is Canada! G et real banning ice fishing in Canada thats like banning Tim Hortons due to there coffee cups being in every ditch from Prescott to Calgary!

You guys should see the garbage laying all over the Rez up here. It's awesome when the snow melts... we have 2 feet of garbage under the snow.

I do agree with your sentiments about the trash being all over the place. I haven't seen Petrie but I do drive by the towns trout hole on the way to work and I can't believe what some people will leave behind.
