i have thought about it before, as i have repaired rods before, but i don't think i'd be able to trust them as much as, say, Shimano, Armalite or North Western. i'll make do for now and post them over when i'm in the UK at the end of the month. for this last coupla weeks i'm gonna try an concentrate...

lmao, well today i caught a 31" Pike, and that, by my own standards, is a pretty below average pike. where i am from in England there is a stretch of river i fish where i can almost guarantee to bank maybe 5x 25lb (i would estimate 35-40") Pike in a couple of hours, my fishing partner has ...

well to me it sounds like the fuel/air mixture is too rich on fuel. i'm not an outboard tekky, but i am a qualified vehicle technician, so i may be wrong. do outboards have air filters? just take it out and try it again, if it cures it just get a new filter. also the ignition timing may be out, i ha...

that sounds worth a try. for carp that aren't hookshy plain sweetcorn produces, for those that are a little picky corn steeped in molasses or maple syrup are deadly! even dyed red with food colouring to change for a while. white bread is also a killer for carp, but minnows rip it to shreds withing s...

Just my 2c, if you tube tubeless tyres be careful. 1. some radial tyres are ribbed on the inside, this can wear through the tubes, this is what tyre manufacturers do to stop people tubing tyres. 2. if you get a puncture with a tube installed the tyre goes *poof* flat, tubeless will more than likely ...

you can't go wrong with a 2-3" white twister tail grub, rigged on a light- 1/16th to 1/8th ounce jighead. funny that, that was what i started with, and that (and yellow grubs) is what i have done best on, although i have glitter green (blank), flouro green (blank), orange (a couple) and some d...

if i had brought my own fishing tackle then i would have a go at surface fishing for carp, as i have seen quite a few 20's feeding at the top over the last couple of days, but all i have is a 6 6 lure rod. my aim is to catch as many different species as i can, so maybe not specific tips for the St L...

a good bait for carp in the UK is 4 pieces of corn on a size 10 hook, they tend to go for sweet flavours and my favourite was to soak the corn in maple syrup overnight :D, i had carp to 28lb on that!!
trout pellets are another killer bait for carp too
