Re: Oh Joy Oh Joy

Yep I've seen a few bass tourney guys who were rude. It happens occasionally. No, I'm not happy if a bass tournament happens to interfere with my fishing plans. But it is a shared resource. By far the most self entitled bunch I have been are the waterfront land owners, many whom think all fishing s...

Re: Oh Joy Oh Joy

So back to the original post.

You want a public place all to yourself?

I'll start taking my weeds home. Should I ring them out first?

Re: Max rpm on 96 90hp Rude

Here is how the motor sits. It is laying on the transom, so it is as low as it can go. No holes, but it can be adjusted up about 3". The skeg placement looks about right to me with the lower cavitation plat just a bit higher than the bottom of the boat. There is a chance the tach is out too, bu...

Re: Oh Joy Oh Joy

As with many groups, it only takes a few bad apples to make everyone look bad. It's great to see them trying to regulate themselves before others do it for them.

At the end of the day tournaments (and everyone else on the water) are here to stay and we all just have to learn play together.

That is an amazing haul!

What state are you in? (assuming it's not Canada)

Re: Max rpm on 96 90hp Rude

4600 is trimmed up as far as I can go before it "blows out". I have lots of experience with higher end performance boats. I've only had the boat for a year and I'm just now trying to sort things out. The thing is it is a Princecraft package for 1996, so I would think the motor would be set...

Max rpm on 96 90hp Rude

Hi All,

Trying to figure out where I should be at WOT.

Princecraft 169 Pro with a 13" x 19" aluminum prop.

Currently 36 mph on the speedo at 4600 rpm

Pulls great, just wondering if I should get more top end and if 4600 rpm is optimum.

Thanks
Rod

Nothing better than top water with a pop r, but I find the tube jig brings them out.

Re: Livewell pump wiring

I'd jump the switch and see if it works. Then you have taken the switch and pump out of the equation. Only wires left then.

Re: New to fishing - what should i get

I would stick with a medium action spinning rod and leave the baitcasting for later as it can be tricky to master. The larger fishing stores here in the GTA have everything you could possible need, and a fishing fanatic that works there and would love to help you spend your money. Are there not plac...

Re: Walleye vs Pickerel

People have been calling them pickerel around here for years for some reason, but yes they are Walleye.
I believe there is a Chain Pickerel that is part of the Pike family.
