Right or wrong???!
Was out on the Rideau today fishing for crappies and as it was opening weekend for walleye and pike it was jam packed with anglers! Great to see with such a nice day but as I was fishing, a boat came into the bay and was throwing what I thought to be a spinner bait from a distance which I mean is re...

So I was on the Rideau for the second day today! Had to launch at Taylor park which is a boat launch that needs to just be destroyed lol! But anyways all in all the crappies were great between 2 spots no giants but a good avg numbers above 40 which can never be a bad thing! With the water levels so ...

A Talon and a 360 have been added since this picture was taken. Also swapped out the electronics for Humminbird Onix's this spring.

guiding
Was curious if anyone had some input on guiding in the ottawa region I only know of a small amount of reputable guides that seem to always have their boats filled whenever I see them. So I would imagine that the demand for guides is high. I mean who doesn't like to go for a fish some I would imagine...

The past season I have had the ability to really key into alot of big fish. I have had the chance to have an understanding of big fish and the changes they make when weather hits or the changes within the year. As hard as it is to assure anything when chasing any species of fish, it is very satisfyi...

Re: Flipping jigs
Semi-related question here from a beginner. I received a few football jig heads from a friend recently, the kind with no skirt. Just a painted football jig with a weedguard. I'm wondering what kind of plastics would pair well with these, and also what application they would be ideal for (i.e. shall...
