Re: Winter's Lake Trout Home & Abroad. Report.
Bunk.I thought I'd take the time to say nice trout man!...but your claims in your report that say you were kicked of a fishing community messageboard by the Administrators is not accurate. You still had access 2 years later and very recently via a password...sooo really you were never kicked off. Y...

Wow! Thanks for the amazing report. I hope that one individual is able to find inner peace as you have. I learned long ago that anger towards others is usually caused by anger towards oneself. Good angling and thanks for sharing.

Re: white lake report
I do agree that walleye are being overharvested, but not bass. I also think that the spawning grounds for pike have been ruined which explains that most lakes in eastern Ontario are mainly home to hammerhandles when they once held huge pike. Try getting a permit to remove a beaver dam, it takes mont...

Re: 2013 Kemptville stocking report
I agree with most of Rjs points. I think that the main misconception about fishing the lakes in Calabogie is only good for small fish is because most people only have a good day right after the stocking truck rolls through. I think 12 inches would be a more appropriate size limits based on the growi...

Re: Italo Labignan
Thanks for the video. I am not certain what is wrong with how they are handling the fish...? What am I missing? It looks like they are being released quickly and they are not handling them... So... what *should* they be doing to maximize their likelihood of survival? Short of not fishing at all, I ...

With the statistics of fish mortality based on handling practices, I can't believe that this is the man that is teaching people how to handle fish. Am I crazy, or is every fish he catches probably going to die? It upsets me that he makes money off of promoting conservation when he's killing almost e...

Re: Grinds my GEARS
Shirleys Bay is absolutely disgusting.... saw 5 or 6 perch, a pile of crap, puke, beer cans and cigarettes everywhere. Going to bring a garbage bag next time I go. It`s no wonder everyone thinks ice fisherman are a bunch of slobs, a lot of them are.

Re: Proper Musky Release technique (Mod's make this a sticky
This is beyond ridiculous. I never imagined being flamed for advocating ethical handling of fish. Times have changed- science has proven that many of the handling techniques previously thought to be harmless are indeed harmful. It's simple logic- if you're going to release a fish, release it in the ...

How To Handle a Muskie
I hate to be thaat guy but someone has to say something. When you catch a muskie, or any big fish that you are planning on releasing in good condition never hold it vertically. Also, them rolling in rocks, dirt, snow ect.. removes slime and makes them more susceptible to disease. Nice fish, and I as...
