i wont be using plugs and spoons in the river ill be float or fly fishing.... i meant generally at this time of year is it still productive enough to fish off the pier for staged salmon or has most of them gone up?

is it still worth fishing off the pier with spoons and rapalas at this time of year?? or should i just stick to the river?

the lightweight pop up ones are surprisingly versatile, buddy has one and i was quite comfy in it with 5 people ( family one) it was windy as hell and just our body heat kept the shack much warmer then outside temps.... plus was a breeze to move around to switch spots or water body's.... make sure y...

google maps is your best friend , and the crown land atlas on the mnr site is a big help for public access aswell....
