Lots of great pike there. Head into one of the many shallow bays and you'll hook up. There is some great cat fishing inthat area also. Look to some of the narrow channels running through the area. This is the area Fishing Freak pounded those big cats last year. That was right off the dock at Ivy Lee...

Get yourself the "Backroads Map Book". You can get it at any Canadian Tire check-out. It has all the rivers/lakes/creeks/roads. It even tells what species are there and if its stocked.

Look around the Muskoka area.... a few lakes up that way have huts for lakers....... same goes for Haliburtin area.

Pretty wild.... I don't even like to drive my boat up there.....he was driving on only 5"s of ice.

People are fishing both Constance and Buckhams bays. Theres 6" of ice in the inner bays. but I launched my boat Dec 12 at Crown Point and the river was wide open and very fast current so don't venture to far out.
