we were out last night trolling and casting into the shallows and bringing it back into the deep and only managed a few small pike and a few bass.. launched out of Kars..

i was also leaning towards the stator as well. only due to the fact that i as well thought it would be a very slim chance that bought coils would happen to go at the very same time.... so i am going to pull the flywheel when i get a flywheel puller (or make one) and take a look at the stator and see...

so my motor died the other day and i could not get it going again (when i finally made it back to shore) and back on my trailer.... which is another story all together..... This is what i have done thus far.... no spark at all on either cylinders Tested the kill switch wire (tests good) no spark at ...

i have two young ones 6 & 3 and am taking the day off as the daycare is closed and would love to take them out for a few hours weather permitting of course for some panfish fun through the ice.

if you guys burn through those small propane tanks you should consider one of these I bought one a few years back and they work awesome. been there done that. got the t shirt... hard lesson learned.. I now switch the main power off at the breakers. My last boat didn't have these breakers so I had some made now I will never show up to the lake with a dead battery again.......\/\/\/\/\/\

My first ? always when I think something is up with a battery is how old is it? The life expectancy isn't as long as you would think on a deep cycle battery even with proper care in the off season.
