HEy phitty; have you ever tried down a bit by carlton? tried there last weekend after a class. water was high and moving fast. tried bouncing a tube off bottom, then threw a bunch of hard tackle at em....nothin. Thought I might of had a hit on the tube but my line was to slack to attempt a hook set....

we were in there a few weeks back doing some exploring...no other boats in there, seemed to be 8 fow across the whole thing and weedy. didn't mark any fish either, but looked like great bass territory. we opened it up and didn't hit anything, maybe got lucky :o

I have heard, I think on Fishin Canada or Real Fishing, that moving a fish straight backward and forward (not the S pattern you describe) is actually bad for the fish. Their explanation was "how often do you see a fish swim backwards!" :?
