So was up at the cottage this weekend. got my new to me boat on the friday and decided to go fishing on the saturday. didnt catch a thing and got soaked in the process. On the sunday i woke up early and saw a nice sunny day so i hoped in the boat and headed to a spot i used to fish with my grandfath...

no clue where the launch is. i have to pass otty lake to get to my cottage on the rideau. was thinking once bass season starts i may stop in there to see what its like.

anybody ever fish otty lake?

i have a 14ft trihull so she aint the greatest for big water

where can you get charts in the city? the chandlery?

Hey guys, just looking for some input. I fish exclusively with spinning reels but thought i might try out a baitcaster just for fun. What is a good entry reel? i want something that will be a good beginner reel but not a cheap piece of crap either.

Went to Appleton today searching for some walleye and panfish and got skunked. caught one little perch and that was it. did anyone have any luck today?

sounds like alot of you guys have a bunch of renos to do. You know im a contractor, you could hire me and go fishing all youd like. lol. but no weekends that my fish time.

What i do is hook the boat up at night when my wifes at work. Leave nice and early, and enjoy the fish. A wise man once told me its easier to ask for forgiviness than beg for permission.
