I was lucky enough to win a St. Clair Hound double bladed spinner bait at a recent C.P.R. tourney. It is fairly easy to cast and retreive with a spinning combo. Although I have not caught anything with it yet, it seems to be deadly. I am not sure what they are worth, as I won it, but it is for sure ...

I know I should wait a few hours for the water to warm up for smallies. What are my odds of catching pike right now ? Say, 6:30 am, 5 degrees and fishing from shore ?

I know I just posted but, if the drive is worth it to you, you need to check out the Jock River dude ! I, and buddies have caught countless pike of similar size or bigger. We catch them right at opener in spring. Rumour has it they return as the weeds die off (i.e. RIGHT FRIGGIN' NOW) .

Live bait in my opinion, is worms. They are used by my fiance to keep her busy while I spend countless hours chucking everything I have at the "targeted" species which I am fishing for.... Which in reality is anything that will bite my lure.

Just my 2 cents....

There is a store called sports action on st luarent and there website says they carrie them, I dont know about colours tho. This is in no way a plug, I've never been there.
