Actually Craig I used a little tool called Google to find it. I actually had the same info but what I was looking at was the Tiger Muskie record. I knew the record was and looks to still be held by a past client of mine but I thought sometime in the last few years though I had heard it had be...

Thanks Cyber. I was just going by how my last Merc was when the CDI box went. I'm going to strip and clean the carbs as well as put in a new set of plugs and see how that does then go from there. If it doesnt get any better I will look at the CDI box. I found one for $100 if I need it. A buddy got i...

I dont think so. I had a CDI box go before. This motor runs as smooth as it did before it just lacks the bottom end punch it always has had. The motor I had the CDI go on sputtered and ran alot worse than normal.

Thanks

'93 50hp 3 cyl Merc......sluggish out of the hole

I have a 1993 3 cylinder 50hp Mercury. I have it on a Lowe Roughneck 1860VT mod-v jon boat. I'm running a 12" 4bld aluminum prop. Dry weight of the boat is around 650lbs. Lately the motor has been real sluggish coming out of the hole and up onto plane. I cleaned the plugs and it made a bit of d...

Didn't know about the self promotion rule...... sorry. To answer the question yes I do. I've actually been guiding down here for almost 25yrs. A good chunk of that was as a full time guide. Check the May issue of ODD mag.

Detroit River Walleye

Easter weekend marked the first decent fishing on the Detroit River this year. Decent is actually an under statement. Normally this time of year we have 38 degree water, NE winds stirring things up and visibility of just a few inches. So far this year we've had water temps in the mid 40's W and SW w...

After school bunnies......me and my boys

Got out last night with my boys for a bit of a bunnie hunt after school. My and my youngest son Josh had our .22's and my oldest son Zach had his .22/.410 combo. We do things a little different than a lot of guys in that we pick a hedge row and area and hunt it really hard instead of just trying to ...

Picton/Prince Edward County info...????

Every fall in late October myself and RoughneckGirl head away for a week of "us time" and do some camping. With 4 teenagers we need it.....LOL. This year we are looking at going to SandBanks Provincial Park. What I'm wondering is about fishing opportunities in the area at that time of year...

Here's a family day out.....!!!!

We got out today for what probably going to be my last time of the season. There was me, my friend Chris (Q2XLbowhunter) and our boys. It started off well with a Coyote being spotted going into a bush/creek bottom across the street from the house as we were loading up. After a quick change plans we ...

1st bow bagged bunnie for LittlestRoughneck

Josh my youngest son (13yrs) managed his first bow bagged bunnie this past week. He made a perfect stalk from about 60yrds to take a beauty 10yrd shot. One shot and down it was.......good job buddy. Here's a pic of him, his rabbit and his pup Ace. Tim http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/ff80/muskiegu...

Down our way we have so many crows that at times they really do some damage and make a mess. Last I heard there was 60,000-80,000 roosting locally. Back in the '80's it was around 150,000. Since they opened the ethanol plant east of here many birds stay there for the corn in the area. As for what we...

Deer and habit management are large issues in helping the heard. So are predator management. I guess it boils down to it not being "X" factor harming the heard but "X", "Y" and "Z" factors managed together to help things. We have a local group that works on al...
