:lol: Boy that was a trip. I found this winter 90% of my crappies coming with some sort of moving whether it be gentle lifting ,dropping or jigging..only the pike seem interested in the dead stick.

:D Shades has very few..Pinehurst and Bloomingdale have been producing. Bloomingdale its the 1st pond on the right off the points. Fish seem to hit best at dusk and into the dark..just gets cooler when the sun goes down. :)

Theres no doubt the information technology trail leads more people to fishable waters. Word of mouth spreads faster..just a click of the button. But as with all fishing I may have a great day one day and a poor day the next on the same body of water. Cold fronts,wind, water colour all affect fishing...

:D it is a fun area up there. Dean and I were up with one of the Fish-Hawk adventure weekends and boated over 30 pike between us in one day. Lots of different water to fish.

:D so where do you read that you need a hook to go fishing. Is it not angling to cast out the hookless rope lure and have a gar grab it in the mouth? The rope isnt a gaff or snare. Its a lure and when they grab it the teeth get stuck in it.
