I agree..though from PA...we had good success catching many walleye in Centennial and the connecting Madawaska...I thought it was us who was not doing well catching keepers...we had over 15 in 3 days at 18 inches...I did catch 1 that was 23 inches 4.2 lbs... you mentioned beer and boats...does this pertain to just the operator? In PA..there are regulations on the operator but not on other people on the boat..meaning they can drink but the operator cannot. Myself and my crew of fellow fisheman are heading up to Centennial Lake and Calabogie to fish for 8 days. This is our annual trip.

Heard fishing has been going well....any updated info on "hot" spots or rigs would be appreciated.

In regards to Centennial, I am pretty sure where you are talking about the Bridge but for my better understanding.... We put in at the Eagles Rest, I would go left out of the docks and head in the direction of Griffith... My question is....If I go down the river about 2-3 miles..I come to a bridge.....

Hey thanks for the reports, We were not targeting smallies...just were in same areas as eyes...we will be targeting them in July...that was why I was inquiring... you mentioned catching pike down by the bridge in Griffth...the one that connects Rt 41 and 71...go beyond the brigde away from Centennia...

Our success was in numbers and not size. Average pike 25 inch. smallies 13-18 inch, walleye 15-18 inches.....

I am from Harrisburg, Pa...fished Centennial last year...mid June..caught nice quantity of eyes, smallies, and pike but didn't hit the bigger boys...

I would appreciate some insight to locations and rigs to improve our chances.
