homemacde lure retreiver

Made my own with a 1-1/4" lock washer and three pieces of light chain 12" long welded to it. Since making it I have not lost any lures and have brought up several other lures and four boat anchors with rope on them. One had a 10" believer and a bucher depth raider caught on the rope.

Option #4 lesser of 4 evils. I only keep walleye between 15-19" to eat. Taste better and are almost always males.

Biggest Musky

My biggest last year was 51" on Moira lake with a black orange homemade spinnerbait. My personal best is 52 1/2" followed closely by my wife's 52" which was caught from a canoe with about six inches of line out. A strike and fight we will both never forget!

Fluorocarbon

My vote goes to YO-ZURI use the 20lbs. smoke. It reduces cut-offs by pike and increases strikes by walleye and smallies in clear water.
