I am not sure i am the one that you should be listening too but i fished this lake morning and night this last weekend. I didnt have much luck finding the pike they are not where they should be, and talking to some of the guys at the marina ( friendly bunch they should point u in the right direction...

No actually the third, I went out on the opener hooked up with 3 eyes and a oos bass and my buddy got another eye and pike. Made it out today aswell for 2 hrs And hooked a small pike.

If you are going to buy an abu reel to make sure that it is made in Sweden and not China. The ones made in Sweden are stamped as such on the side of the reel. They seem to be made with a higher degree of quality, IMO
