Just be careful there can be some very iffy ice, no one wants to see anyone go down so make sure you ask around about ice conditions.

It is definately from the electricity in the air, I have had that exact thing happen to me a few times. my lure would lit the water but the line would remain arched and not drop. I dont know if it means you are going to get hit by lightning but I wouldnt take the chance, unless the fishing was reall...

Thanks fellas, I let it be known on my boat that all fish over 10lbs will be released unless, they are not healthy enough to be released or unless they are going on a wall. We boated 34 over 10lbs last year and all but one were releases because a guy put it on his wall. I have been fishing the shoal...
