Taira's are sweet rides, I have been/fished on a few - I know 3 people that own them. If I was to get a dream boat it would have to be a Luhr's, Hatteras, tiara or phonix sportfisherman....something 41'+.
I saw a new tiara 4300 open 2 years ago at a boat show ....WOW that was a ride.

PHil- A few tips i forgot to tell you with running dual planer boards: WHEN NOT TO RUN THEM: 1. when fishing with Big-o :lol: 2. in tight boat traffic 3. Heavy winds 4. waves over 3' When you have conditions #2-4 in line planer boards work alot better. Sorry nothing helps with #1. :lol: Nice walleye...

Spinner, these devises are more trouble than worth. there are a number of ways that you can get to the "depths" of a downrigger with out downriggers on your boat. A few are leadcore, dipsey divers, superline or wire line dipsey divers, and mono drop ball riggers. i am familar with them all...
