No bites for three weekends in a row :cry: Other people that I have talked to last weekend had no bites at all as well. Either you fish from a boat or you fish from shore results are the same... No luck!
I was at Calabogie for some trout this Friday and I didn't get any bite. It was my worst fishing day ever....gorgeous day though! Visited at least six trout lakes around with no even one hit. I've used worms, trout paste, preserved grasshoopers, salmon eggs....tried different techniques...nope...not...

Calabogie report
Hi Folks, Found Shiner and other lakes around solid frozen with 2 inches of ice closer to shore and probably good 10 inches in the middle of the lake. Back roads aren't snow-free yet but it is getting better. Next weekend may look better but my advise is to wait at least 2 more weeks. Guys, hang in ...

Hi folks,
I am heading to Calabogie this weekend to check out some lakes there.
Does anyone know if the ice safe enough on Sh..er and Sc..ly lake? Has anyone recently visited these ones? I don't do much ice fishing
however this year I am definitely trying this out.

Hi all, Sorry for my ignorance but how do we know for sure if live bait sold in Baitshops are not contaminated or with some kind of carring in disase. Are they getting through some testing before reaching market or they don't. I would say that Petsmart stores are much safer then some of Bait shops. ...
