Had the same problem with the deep walleye just picking up a couple here and there trolling 50ft with the downriggers in 50-60ft of water

That is why i fix my own stuff, I know im not getting screwed over on the price of parts and its free labour. just my take on the whole thing. And yes sometimes it learn as you go.

Maybe they could eat the sewage in the ottawa river and it wouldnt be so much of a sess pool. put my boat in there once last year it will probably be the last, unless they get it cleaned up.

caught one small musky and had three huge muskys follow but couldnt get them to bite so maybe it was a little off.

fished there today, just fished till noon and got lakers , one 6pounds the about 2 pounds also lost a couple. 80 feet down in 110-120 feet of water . I would never even think of putting my boat in the water in the ottawa river east of the city. Just drove to petrie island once and smell was awful. Why do people even want to fish there let alone eat the fish. Take the half hour drive and put in west of the city.

Lake ontario fishing charters. Wayne mcandrew knows his stuff. known him and fished with him over 20 years. great guy and he,ll put you on fish. You might want to wait a week or two its still a little slow.

I always save my money and grief when it comes to my boat or truck for all that matters and fix it myself that way I know its done right and the price is right. Can't say I enjoy doing it but it works for me. Just my 2-cents on the servicing issue.
