Ice Bungalow Rentals

Can anyone recommend any good places for rentals? Myself I'm in the Ottawa Valley, so I'm not too sure of many places around. The only one around here I've found was http://www.valleyicefishing.com/ Looking for something reasonably priced for a group of friends to go to for a weekend. Any suggestions?

If ya take it to Calabogie, then come back around to Calabogie Rd. Head towards Calabogie Peaks towards Black Donald, hang a left onto Greens Landing Rd. and that'll take ya right there. And stay outta my fishin' spot....I found a new lil spot there the last time and they were sweet bass....too bad ...

After doing a quick google search, yes, the Eagles Rest http://www.theeaglesrest.ca/ is pretty much on the part of the Madawaska River system....again, obtain maps of the lake/river system, as it's very big. The bridge that is mentioned previously in the thread, I believe is to part of the Centennia...

Re: Mad. River Outta Burnstown

Nice little spot that's always hot with people. And still good fishing is at Springtown. Head towards Calabogie on Calabogie Rd. (Hwy 508 I think it is) There's a culvert spot with parking avail. You may even want to launch the boat there too. A buddy of mine caught a nice 4 lb pickeral not more tha...

The dam is down closer to Black Donald area...Calabogie area....I doubt you'll fish the whole lake.....It's hugh, the Madawaska River runs right through it, and into Black Dona...

Re: Dollorama bargains !

I bought the ones that look like a perch, and boy let me tell ya, I had the pike and the bass just nailing that last summer. I had to buy more because mind got so torn up the first time out with them. Definitely a good buy. Bought the ones that look like a pike, but no luck yet with those ones. Some...

I don't think there is a place at Scully Lake to camp, I'm pretty sure it's a little close to private property. No permit needed at Shiner Lake, just keep it clean there. There's a few nice spots there. And please don't take mine. Shiner is right beside the Rd. The other one is a few miles b...

Shiner Lake, just off the Centennial Lake Rd. has some good trout in it. Scully Lake apparently has some too, it's not that far up the Rd. either. Another good one, that I can't remember how to get to is Holmes' Lake. Good Luck, and always looking to find some better trout fishing in the Calabogie a...

At the end of McFarland Lane I think it is. Right off Hwy 17. There's a string of shacks along the way out there. I took the ice scoop to measure and there was probably a good 3-4 inches left on the scoop. I did notice that there was lot's of pressure on the lake though. After drilling the holes, th...

Ice Fishing around Calabogie

Thinkin' about doing some fishing in and around the Calabogie area, Renfrew County. Anyone have reports of the ice conditions of the area? So far I've been on Muskrat Lake last weekend in Cobden, there seemed to be about 8 inches. Twin Lakes, along Hwy 41 had about the same. Looking for some good tr...
