Hi, We had the same problem with a 2 cylinder 60 hp evinrude this spring. Motor only wanted to go half speed A 10 minute job to compression check it. Any backyard mechanic can do it. Low compression coulld be caused by a damaged head gasket (easy to fix) or your cylinder is shot. Our compression was...
