How do the rules apply if I'm in a boat. If I have a sport fishing tag I know around Ottawa you can go up to highway 5 or 50 and not get into trouble, I guess I'll have to check locally to see how they draw the line around Mackey. Thanks again.

As far as the regs go I thought as long as you launch from the Ontario side you can fish the Ottawa River, Is there a limit about how far up the tribs you can go on the Quebec side?

The only place that I'm familiar with is the marina in Hull. They used to rent them but not sure if they still do.

Can't wait, 14 of us heading up to Duncan Lake (Gowaganda area) First time on this Lake should be great. This is the head water for the Montreal river system which feeds the Ottawa. Should be a blast, will post results when i get back on Tuesday.

Just watched it with the kids, I think that was the "G" rated version. Thats the kind of thing I was looking to see locally. This site always come through.
