Nice Eyes!!! Where is Wendover anyways?

Alright after being skunked one too many times, my buddies and I are thinking of going to Fitzroy Harbour. Anyone have any tips for that area? Is it even a viable location? Hoping to not get skunked for once..lol!

My fishing style consists of 4lb test on an ugly stick with a minnow on the end of it all. Sitting in -15 degree weather having a good laugh with my buddies waiting for the day that a fish comes along and actually takes my bait..lol.

I just started ice fishing this year and it has been tough! I have the bare essential equipment (auger,scoop and fishing rod). I fished White Lake almost every weekend last summer and as stated there are no big pike. Lots of big bass and the occasional eye. I go to Pickeral Bay and fish right around that bay. You can never get skunked around that area.

Hey I will be out that area ( been skunked 2 times already there ) on Saturday but I have not caught anything. If you do find someone that knows what they are doing, my buddies and I would tag along for the company =)

Every time I've caught Gar it was on a slow moving top water lure. Just put it in front of their mouths and wait. then when the Gar bites, leave it and don't set the hook for a couple of minutes. It takes them time to bring the lure from the front of their mouths to the back. Hope that helps.

Does anyone kow of a place to rent a boat in or around Fitzroy Harbour? I hear there is good fishing there but can't seem to find much about the area.

I've been fishing Morris island for a few years now it has always been hit and miss. Some days I get pike and large mouth right where the walk way is Off the trail) and other times I get nothing at all. I know that I usually get the most bites in the evening at about 7pm. Hope that helps.
